Greetings,

So it has been a rough week but my answers are still unknown on my sailboat that was broken into and vandalized last week on dock GG. Because no one would like to take responsibility for the situation and I have been told over and over how this has Never happened in last 25 years. Well this definitely makes news for the newspapers as well as I have filed a claim with the City Attorney as well as the State Attorney and have asked for their help in this situation. After doing some easy research I found that is has infact happened before and on GG. All names of contacts for this incident have been forwarded to the appropriate officials so a complete investigation can be made and someone held accountable. I hope proper protocol was followed, but with the paperwork that I have, there are some definite answers to be heard.

I do appreciate what little help your office did and also will be launching an investigation on why GG dock has so many break in's and vandals when Lori Little infact told me that it is her that made this marina what it is today. I hope to get this resolved as you know I now have no way of moving my boat because of my missing engine, gas tanks, fire extinguishers and all of the things needed to be safe as well as LEGAL in your marina.

Now that The Long Beach Marina has moved this problem to the city, I guess you guys are non involved now. I have a good case and hope to win because of not following though on a release of a boat in impound.

Please respond to let me know what rules apply to me know as a slip renter, knowing what has happened. I have over $8,000 worth of missing equipment and damages and can not move my boat for a while. Also realize that this can happen all over again once my boat goes back to impound.

Well the trip started out missing my Amtrak to San Diego, so the next best thing that Thursday evening was to spend the night in the next town which happened to be Laguna Beach, CA. The hotel that I stayed at had wonderful prices and right on the beach, (although my apt. is right on the beach it just wasn't the same). Now most hotels I have been to lately have not been the roomiest, but this one, wow, what room and the bathroom, although it did not have one of my favorite features (the bathtub), was very roomy and had a huge glass shower. A short walk around the corner and I was on the private beach grounds which was so beautiful with an erie glow and in the morning had its share of local surfers who were definitely having fun that morning. The night's sleep was a pleasant one and the overall surroundings were very pleasing. A walk to the local coffee shop and then a walk on the beach with a fresh hot cup of coffee to start my a.m.

My train left at 12:00pm headed to San Diego. A nice visual trip and a glass of Cabernet before you know it
San Diego was under my feet.

The highlights were definitely the Wine from Wine Steals: www.winestealssd.com and the cheese from Taste: www.tastecheese.com. Together they make an excellent pair. I dropped in on Saturday and to my surprise, WineSteals was packed with fun groups of people all over for their $10.00 wine tasting, a definite MUST in my book. Many small town community neighborhoods needs both a WineSteals and Taste. Although I didn't stay I bought a great red to go along with the cheese I purchased from Taste and took it back to my hotel room. Later that evening I had dinner at a quiet little sushi place called Sushi Bar Kazumi......An excellent place. Friendly and a great place for an intimate first date. Tables and Sushibar. I had the torro spicy tuna hand roll along with quail egg shooters. I would go again, and again! On my way back to the hotel it had started to rain and rain hard. It was a nice surprise. Hey there and a Smooth Jazz Greeting. The last couple of weeks and the next couple of weeks have and will be filled with upgrades to the station along with a brand new format geared towards Macintosh equipment for live events. The station has been busy with promoting our station in different cities and spreading the word.

San Francisco is on our trip for October 23-25. Look for us promoting! The fall season has come and so much is going this month. The weather change is nice and the fall series of sailboat racing will start next week. Look for Metropolis in the Carl Anderson Memorial Racing Series 2008. Well Hi and long time no see! So glad to be back on this journal. So much has been going on with the station with numerous upgrades to make our sound even better than before. Last night I went to The Cellar in Long Beach with some music buddies and we had a great time listening to Elmore James Jr. all evening long. The drinks at The Cellar were awesome and the crowd was so much fun. Dancing to some of these tunes was great. My had goes off to Mr. Elmore James Jr. Thanks for the great music last night and hope to see you soon for that interview.
